Paintball Game : Operation
Valkrie

|
This game is underconstruction.. Preface: This game is about deception, traitors and spy's -- well, sort of. It starts with the Wolf's Lair protected by the SS with a central spawn for the SS. To make matters worst, this game is written with day AND NIGHT PLAY in mind. There is a game I read about called Night Recon which lends certain elements to Valkyrie - and credit must be given where credit is due. This game also borrows from Poker Run type games. On the perimeter of the Wolf's Lair are 3 objectives that each spy must defeat. At game start, each objective is supplied by the guards with poker chips (1 for each spy). Each objective uses a different color of poker chip. Every 15 minutes the guards put out more chips to replenish the original chip setup.
To complicate matters, Im thinking the spies at least start the game without any alliance. (Each spy is from a different country). To complicate matters even worst, perhaps one of these spies was turned by the SS and now works for the Third Reich. When a spy reaches an objective he should take at least one poker chip. He could take more, but that may upset the other spies. Taking more than your share is certainly within the rules - but don't tell anyone.. If a spy gets shot by a SS guard, then the eliminated spy must turn over any chips on his person to the guard that shot him and the guard returns them to their respective objective. The spy then goes off-field to spawn. If one spy shoots another spy then the eliminated spy must turn over any chips on his person to the spy that shot him, and then go off-field to spawn. If the traitor (Member of the SS) shoots a spy, then the eliminated spy must turn over any chips on his person to the traitor that shot him - who then returns them to the guards - or not. Spies may hide chips, trade chips, strike alliances, turn rogue, bribe guards, negotiate pacts, what ever. Lying is allowed. Cheating is not. Guards must be marked w/ flagging tape. The Traitor and Spies are not marked. Guards do not have to stay in the perimeter. Objective: Play for a while, call the game and show your chips. Variation: Use playing cards instead of chips. Play for an hour. At end of the hour, see who had the best 5 card poker hand. Variation: Include a mission for the spies to accomplish (deliver bomb to bridge, etc.) to see is they can work together during all of the back stabbing, etc. that may pop up during the game. Variation: Play this one at night... lol - what a gas. Teams : I'm thinking a even number of guards and spies. 5 on 5 - maybe more spies for larger groups (6 guards vs 8 spies etc) -- Time to test.
